Dental emergencies don't wait for convenient timing. We do our best to see patients with urgent dental needs as quickly as possible. Please call us first so we can prepare for your arrival.

We do our best to see urgent cases quickly, often the same day. We cannot guarantee same-day or drop-in availability, but we will do everything we can to help.
What Counts as a Dental Emergency?
Severe Toothache
Persistent, severe tooth pain that doesn't go away with over-the-counter pain relief.
Knocked-Out Tooth
A tooth that has been completely knocked out. Time is critical — call us immediately and keep the tooth moist.
Broken or Cracked Tooth
A tooth that has broken or cracked, especially if it's causing pain or has sharp edges.
Lost Filling or Crown
A filling or crown that has fallen out, leaving the tooth exposed and sensitive.
Dental Abscess
A painful infection at the root of a tooth or in the gum. This can be serious and should be treated promptly.
Soft Tissue Injury
Cuts or lacerations to the lips, gums, cheeks, or tongue that won't stop bleeding.
What to Do While You Wait
- For a knocked-out tooth: handle it by the crown (not the root), rinse gently, and keep it moist — in milk, saline, or between your cheek and gum.
- For a toothache: rinse with warm salt water and take over-the-counter pain relief as directed. Do not place aspirin directly on the tooth or gum.
- For bleeding: apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth or gauze.
- For a lost filling or crown: dental cement from a pharmacy can provide temporary protection.
